One 95/90

Recommended Posts

I just got a Nike Bauer One 95 (stickum) and I just saw at the top of the shaft there is an impression on it that says one 90. So..................... what does that mean? Is it a one90 or 0ne95?

No, I got it from hockey giant in Minneapolis.

That is your first prob. DO NOT BUY FROM THAT STORE, there are literally dozens of other hockey shops in that area with better sticks at better prices. As far as the stick, post some pics.

Where would you suggest to buy sticks then?

HockeyGiant has a rack of overpriced pro stock sticks, but did you pick it up at the store or order it online? Lets see a pic first.

If you're going to buy a stick in the Twin Cities, I've never had any issue at HG, but I tend to shop at places like Westwood Sports (3 locations) or General Sports on 50th n France in Edina along with Sportsworld USA in Eden Prairie. The Bloomington and Apple Valley locations of Westwood Sports are fairly close to the Bloomington, MN HockeyGiant locale.

Strauss, Dave's Sport Shop and Lettermen Sports are pretty good if you're on the north or east side of town. If you live on Lake Minnetonka, you can always hit up Sports Hut in Wayzata or the Plymouth Location of Lettermen Sports.

Called this morning, got redirected like 3 times. Got in contact with Mr.Drown. He's in charge of the recall. He had no idea about it, kept saying it was like a mystery. He had received my email before and was waiting for an answer from his production line. He told me already, he would send me an email or call once he found out. He didn't think it would be that One 90's are being sent out. I kinda lost it in the middle of his call, but some key things he's not sure why that would happen, as the dimensions are the same, however the...i forget the word..are quite different. And that there are a few changes to the 2 models. And that he felt there was a 0% chance, that was the case. I dunno though. He seemed pretty sure of it. One thing I didn't mention was that I wasn't the only person with a model like that. And it was heavier than a retail One 95(I tested). I want to get some friends who have One 95's to try to shoot with it, see what happens.
