Does any company actually make a direct clone of the CCM Tavares curve currently? I know the Easton Iginla is close but shorter and shallower with a more rounded toe, there is several bauer curves in the "similar but not that close" catagory - does an actual clone exist from anyone?

I've never found one from a major manufacturer (Easton, Bauer, Warrior, Sherwood, etc.). The Tavares/Recchi curve is my curve of choice and the only other source for it is Harrow with their pattern #4. But they only offer composite and only tapered.

The new 2010+ Easton Heatley is the same as the old CCM Recchi's I use to have. I have not owned both at the same time, but have had both and they felt the exact same to me.

As for other brands, the Bauer P89 is the only other one that comes to mind other than the RBK Datsyuk.

The Bauer p88 is what you would be looking for. Was the "lindros" curve now I am pretty sure it is "kane" -

It's the pattern I use Mid, 1/2 neutral face 6 lie. The CCM composite will have a little more square toe compared to the p88 on a vapor.

This would be a great time for the pattern DB to be up and running.

Closest option is the Harrow that was mentioned above.

I wouldn't say not even close. The only main difference is the toes and the where the blade curves to an extent.

Profile, rocker, lie and curve are all different. I think it's fair to say it isn't all that close.
