Graf G500 or G700 shoulder pads?

Recommended Posts

Graf shoulder pads are pretty good protection wise. They offer very good shoulder, sternum and spine protection about as decent as most top end shoulder pads in other more popular brands. I personally don't like the fit, I find they fit a bit on the small side and ride up high on my shoulders, but again that is just me. If you are considering them I would go with the 700's because their a bit longer and are the top of the line Graf shoulder pad. They are average as far as durability is concerned and the quality is fairly good and they offer decent ventilation. Graf is not the most popular brand in underneath protective but they are fairly decent and light.

I agree with what was said above for the most part, I've worn the 700 now for about a year and a half. I like the pad, I'm a smaller guy, 5'10, 160, so the tighter fit works well for me. Low pro shoulder caps and nice bicep adjustment. Found it a bit hot at first compared to my older CCM's but dont notice it now. Overall I've been impressed with it.

I use the 700s, and I like them a lot. I went from using Sherwoods to them, and I like the low profile fit and had no mobility issues. I have the model before what is current, the mostly black and white model.
