Pro Stock E-Pro

Recommended Posts

Been looking for a new pair of gloves, and I found these pro stock Eastons on the eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=180539102152&Category=79764&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2#ht_1341wt_1012

I prefer four rolls and 13" pro stocks seem to be few and far between, so I definitely want to pull the trigger on these. However, I can't see any difference between these and the retail e-pros (beyond color), which I had heard were crap, so I was hoping for some advice before purchasing (especially if these would just be paying a $40 surcharge for Ranger colored crappy gloves). Thanks guys.

That pair seems to have a nicer nylon shell than the retail E-PRO's I tried on. I wouldn't guarantee it though. Do the pro stock versions usually have sewn vs. heat pressed logos? That may be a tipoff.

Those are the higher quality "E-PRO". The crappy retail gloves only come in black and navy. Also have a different palm and like someone mentioned, the liner is different. These will have a silver liner.

They do have plastic inserts, ask them what color the liner is.

The retail E-Pro has plastic inserts, too. The pro-stock has a silver liner like these:

The palms on those E-Bay gloves look like the retail models that I've seen.

I have a pair of those in Buffalo colors, and they're definitely higher quality than the retail E-Pro's, including the palms.

I'm assuming they're definitely worth the money, then?

Also, shot off an email regarding the lining. Someone posted a link to another model on another store that looked identical, and clearly had silver lining. So I suppose I'm awaiting confirmation before buying.

If anyone's interested, I'm pretty sure they also have them in two or three more colors in 14 & 15 inches.

Thanks for the info, guys.

These look to me like a custom order of retail E-Pro's.

You see them once and while and they all have the same palms.

I haven't personally tried them, bit Im pretty sure they are lower quality then the real pro stock.

Again, they are NOT the same as the retail versions. The tag on mine said either "Synergy 500" or "Synergy 900", I can't remember which. They are made in Canada, and are a great pair of gloves for the money.

Do yours have the silver lining that was mentioned earlier?

its 800, i checked today and the retail version doesn't use as good of material on the outside but its easier to tell side by side. Retail uses black liner, so you want to buy silver.
