Jarick 5 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Go with the SR and shape it with a file rasp...that's what I've always done.
Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Oggie Grips come in intermediate.
skarbro 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Are intermediate sticks usually narrower than senior sticks? My UL+CL intermediate stick looks like the same size as a senior.
regularjoe 1 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 My experience is limited to the '09 One95 intermediates but I couldn't get a senior wooden plug in. I was able to use a junior but it took some coaxing and even then I didn't jam it in the whole way for fear that I would be cracking/breaking the shaft in some way (had enough for the extra length I wanted). The composite Bauer extensions fit perfectly though although the opening is too narrow for the end cap (had to jam that in). My int one95s take senior plugs with zero issues.

Could be the plugs I got and the problem with inconsistency with wood but a have a handful or senior end plugs and none of them will fit w/o shaving stuff off. ju87 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2010 Interesting... my int One95 needed a jr plug. I jammed a sr plug into my int Dolo shaft and I don't think it will ever come back out again.
Jarick 5 Report post Posted October 15, 2010 Going the other way, the Battleaxe stick I'm reviewing now (an intermediate) has such thin walls that I had to add FOUR pieces of tape to a new senior plug to fit.
bobapower 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2015 I have a Dolo Int shaft and a Sr extension will not fit without shaving a ton off. So I gave up on trying.I might try a Jr extension next.
yipperzz 28 Report post Posted July 28, 2015 Int. Covert DT1 and bought a senior extension. Had to shave it down a little.Edit: Not sure if it was the extension though, it was an A&R and when I stuck another one in my Sr. AK27, it was pretty tight too. So I gave up on trying.I might try a Jr extension next.I was able to put a Jr Wood extension into my Dolo 70 flex in shaft tonight. It wouldn't go in at first, then I heated up the shaft to make it more pliable, after that I was able to jam it in.The extension as almost exact dimension as my shaft, which is cool.
