Bauer TotalONE stick

Recommended Posts

This was my first time breaking a stick that high up, I've broken sticks on one timers and stuff, and down around the blade. There isn't a problem with my technique, I've never broken a stick like this one.

personally i think 99% of warranty claims are due to improper technique/cheating the system rather than actual breakage. I've had this stick since october, and have used it 2-3 hours a week since then, with probably another 2 hours of using it off ice per week. Granted I play men's league, but, it has lasted a full 6 months with no issues what so ever. the paint is severely chipped up along the length of the shaft and near the blade, and still kicking.

X2

I got it on release day and it's still going strong. I did buy a Dolo and EQ50 to try out but I've always gone back to the T1.

I gave my old One95 a go the other night. Yes the T1 doesn't have the same great feel but at the end of the game it was the T1 in my hands.

I used mine for the first time last night and am impressed. Coming from a pre-buyout TPS R8 it had a lot to live up to, and it didn't seem promising early on as it felt a lot more 'hollow' than the R8 when touching the puck and the balance was not quite as good. However, with that aside puck feel was good and my wrist and snap shots were better than ever with noticeably more zing to them. I didn't get a chance to take any slappers so we'll see what they're like next time out.

So far I'm impressed.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a retail TO, 87 flex with the Kane curve. Had it out on the ice the past three days in a row. Coming from an S19, I wasn't sure I would find another stick that I liked more, but I was dead wrong. The snapper and slappers from the TO are lasers. I was worried about my wrister lacking with the TO but it truly still feels great. +1 so far for the TotalOne stick. Very Impressed. Hoping it will hold up and be durable too. My S19 went soft in the blade after only a couple months.

Finally got a T1 and used it in a shinny game. Puck feel is great, release is fast on all shots, overall a better product than the X60. I find the flex on the T1 to be softer than my X60. I bought an 87 flex T1 and cut it down to the 106 flex cut point and the stick was still pretty whippy. I did the same thing to my X60 which was a 77 flex to about the 96 flex point(can't remember the number, but same amount cut off) and it is a lot stiffer. I'm not a very big guy either 5"7, about 160lbs. Either way great stick, wish it was all black like the One95 though, ah well. One day when I own Bauer...hahaha

Can't find any info, anyone know what the stiffest retail flex the TO comes I'n? I've seen 102 but wounding if they make a 110 ish?

In store they only go up to 102. If you consider MyBauer.com retail then yes, they make a 112.

Pure Hockey also had some "retail" 112 flex TO's made up. Limited patterns - P92L5, P88 and PM9 only I think. Limited quantities as well. They were essentially "blank" MyBauer sticks.
