Bauer ONE80 Stick

Recommended Posts

Has anyone here used the Bauer Supreme ONE80 GripTac Hockey Stick? I am looking into purchasing one and was wondering if anyone had any reviews on it.

I just purchased one the other day and for $120 this stick is really nice. It has a nice tacky grip like the Total One and it feels solid. No complaints yet.

How does this stick compare to the X40 or X50?

The Vapor and Supreme series are different in their kickpoints. The Supreme series has that mid kick which allows for better loading of slappers and snappers, while the Vapor series has the low kick for quick releases of wristers. They differ in that sense, but with the new Aero FOam II in both the Vapor and Supreme series sticks this yr, the feel will be more similar than before

I guess I should look into the Vapor line then. Is there a big difference between the X40 and X50?

the one80 is somewhere between the x40 an x50. the x50 is essentially a two piece x60. the x40 is a budget priced stick but a very good budget priced stick at $100.

I used a one75 back when, and compared to the one95 it performed probably just as well. blade feel was a bit livelier, didn't have the woody feel one95's are known for, and was definitely blade heavy. composite quality in the shaft doesn't match the totalone/one100 (and by some extension, the x50 and x60).

I'm actually coming from a one75 myself but I am looking to try the vapor line. As much as I would like a X60, its not in my budget. The X50 is actually quite a decent jump in price from the X40 as well but if its specs are a huge improvement over the X40 I may decide to go with it.

Could anyone please tell me why I can't find the one80 in a 102 flex? Or direct me to where I can find one?

I guess I may be able to special order one from my LHS.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Tried out a teammates one80 during a warmup, thought it was an awesome price point stick. Flexes and kicks nicely (if you like mid kick sticks, obviously), good feel in your hands (nice shape to the shaft, and the raised spiral grip is awesome), I liked the blade/puck feel too. In a lot of ways it reminded me of my now-broken one95, only heavier, which is a very good thing because my one95 was my favorite stick ever performance-wise. Currently using an Easton ST, if this tank ever breaks there's a good chance I'll be replacing it with a 77 flex p88 grip one80.

I just went from a one80 to a one100, and the difference i feel isnt TOO much, but weight is the biggest, obviously because of price, but i like the blade a lot more on my one100 more than i did on the one80, and i didnt like that rubber pad on the blade. the shaft is about the same over all feel. if thats in your price range though it is an excellent stick!

I'm a dealer....

102 is only for Europe, 87 & 77 for everyone.

If 102 was available for north america, wed sell a boat load more of them.

Thanks for the info....that was driving me nuts. The 87 is too whippy for my preference....damn.

I guess that's why I may opt for the one100 (they want my $$$)....unless I go back with another ST.
