coryroth24 15 Report post Posted November 7, 2010 Just gonna cut to the chase. Bad idea to store unused equipment (gloves, skates, etc...) in a shed that will get below freezing this winter, right?
NextBobbyOrr 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2010 Haha definitely. I'd try to find some other place, for me a shed in winter would be last resort.
Neal 41 Report post Posted November 7, 2010 Are you putting it away for the winter? If so, your only concern is mice. Sitting in the cold won't harm the equipment. If you can seal it in a box that mice can't get into, I think it would be okay.

pby 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2010 I keep my equipment in the shed between games. I purchased an "equipment tree" to hang my stuff so it air drys. I don't think its going to dry well if you leave it outside below freezing though. Probably isn't such a good idea to leave equipment in the cold because glue tends to get brittle in low temperature, which can be pretty bad for skates and helmets. coryroth24 15 Report post Posted November 8, 2010 This is storage for the stuff that I'm not using. I have gloves and what not that aren't always being used and I'm a little tight on space...
