Mission Amp1 S series - help with info

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Got these a while back to convert for roller hockey and try as I might, I cannot find any info on them. I can find tons of stuff on every other Amp skate Mission made ie Amp2, Amp 3, 4 7 and 8 but not a sliver of info nor picture of them anywhere. Were the Amp 1 the top level skate?

They look like this:

Never seen those before, but judging by the fiberglass and stiffness it'd no doubt be a top level skate at that time.

It's a top end skate. Second from the top end Flyweight First Gen.

I miss those days

not meaning to hijack this thread, but I have a pair of Mission AmpFlys, are those top end skates too?

No...more mid end. Same internals as the Amp3s.

Thanks for your replies, appreciated.

Figured it was a top end skate given the construction on it. Seems they named it flyweight later on with a different shell plus the same fiberglass.

Having a nightmare trying to get replacement runners for them as one cracked :(

Preferred them to my One95s sometimes!

Yea, I always wanted a pair of the flyweights. They look amazing even compared to skates today.
