Custom Vents for M11 Cascade Helmet

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew a way to change the color of my existing vents or is there a way you can buy new ones?

Im curious too. Looking at a video posted on youtube... it shows it as just a strip, so maybe you can order it directly from Cascade?

From the Cascade website FAQ ...

Can you change out the colored vents on the M11 helmet?

"While you can choose the color of the vents on your custom-made M11 helmet at no additional cost, you cannot change them out as the vents are sonically welded into the helmet shell to secure their position."

in my hockey shop there are a ton of different vent colors.

You cAN ORDER A helmet with any of the many custom vent colors. They have 1 day turnaround on custom helmets, best in the biz.

For those smarter than myself:

I have twins that play travel hockey for different teams through out the year. we now have 4 different pairs of m11 helmets on the shelves in the hockey room. yes- i realize just plain old black would fix the following question but......

question: has anyone tried removing the vents, redying the plactic vents with RIT dye like we use for dying lacrosse heads, then super glue or gorilla glue the inserts back in the helmet?

( note: i ask this because cascade won't sell just the colored inserts and i don't have access to a sonic welder)

I wouldn't do that at all - your idea uses two methods that just shouldn't be used on a helmet.
