bauer sticks/blades

Hello,

I am new at MSH and did not find an answer in the topics. So I hope you guys can answer me.

I am playing for about two years with bauer sticks.

First a NikeBauer One Pro Shaft with one55 blades in it (2 blades). After this NikeBauer one95 blades in it (also 2 blades). After this I bought an NikeBauer one55 OPS, and after this stick broke I bought a one75 Bauer OPS.

With all the blades from the sticks i have/had the same problem. After some time (can be 2 weeks, or some other time a month) there start to come cracks in the blade who start at the heel of the blad to somewhere at the middle. So the blade doesn't break, but a lot of stiffness in the blade is now gone.

Playing with a wippy blade is no good, so a lot of my money is now spent on sticks:P Does anyone have the same problem or is it just me with a wrong shooting technique or something?

I hope you guys can help me.

If you have damage at the heel, I think it has to do with the lie of the stick, so you should think about using a lower lie. But with 2pcs, perhaps the length of the stick is the issue, and that affects the lie?

Sounds logical, My tape is always wore out first (don't know this is the good word) at the heel of the blade, the same place where the cracks are...

Adjusting the length of the stick adjusts the lie.

Long in short, your stick is too long for what you're using it for. Either that, or you're technique is really wrong. Have you been playing with bauer for two years, or overall for two years?

for two years, now I am 18 years old, before that I just played with sticks who others didn't use anymore or which i could get for a nice price

What curve are you using?

The p92 is available in two lies I believe. You may want to try to switch to a lower lie. Try a warrior Draper curve in lie 4. Should solve your problem, and a nearly identical curve.

Ok, I've searched on hockeygiant and I found it. You see the curve P92, and then P92 LIE 5. But in my country (Holland) I think this curve is harder to get at my LHS. So beside the Draper curve, would it help to shorten my stick a bit?

Try cutting an inch off and see if that helps
