Easton Air Pant Issues/Questions

Recommended Posts

Hey guys so I recently switched over to some Easton Air pants, I know they aren't the most recent pants but I enjoy the feel of them. However, I have a few questions I need some advice on. There is a weird foam thing inside the pants, if you took a look at my first two pictures you can see what I am talking about. What is this? Where do I put it? It's sewed onto the pants so you cannot remove it. It just gets in the way of everything and I find it pointless.

The second thing I have to ask you guys is about the tie up lace on the front of the pants. Should I put a hockey lace in there instead of the shoelace like thing that is in there now? When I tie it up like a shoe it bunches up a lot and looks a little weird. There is a picture posted for you to know what I am talking about.

Thanks everyone. The picture links are below.

That goes in front of the junk. It's more or less a dick tongue.

So do I pull it up? Or what exactly do I do with it because it's so big.

Um.... that's what she said?????

Hahaha gave me a good laugh. But seriously, I don't know what the hell that thing does, it's so annoying.

Thread the belt through the handy little black strap on the belly pad, and it will all fall into place for you.

Thanks, now what do you recommend I do with the lace. Should I put a hockey lace instead? Should I tie it differently?

I would use a hockey lace. I've used a hockey lace in all my pants that have had ties. I like the look of the skate lace better, it stays tied a little better, it's a little easier to tie since it's longer, and it's partly superstition as it's the same lace and I've just moved it from pant to pant. Oh and it's an unwaxed lace, don't know if that makes a difference or not but that's what I had when I started using it.

There's no need to replace the lace with a skate lace, the existing lace should work fine for years. And remember, the rose goes in the front.
