haha yeah i bought some s19 shoulder pads and did this to them i have the front piece i took the back, i haven't felt a cross check yet in matter of fact nothing this works amazing!

You actually ruined a pair of S19 shouldies just for that little piece? Unless you're a pro getting these things for free it seems like a complete waste of top of the line gear, you could have found a similar piece on shoulder pads that are like 1/3 the price.

Lacrosse kidney/rib pads are not heavy whatsoever, wear them under your shoulder pads and you won't notice anything. Plus, you don't have to mangle any equipment.

I tried some lax kidney pads on at a com lax store and all of them didn't cover my ribs.

no no, i didnt waste trust me, i stitched the bicep guards and shoulder guards along with the side panels and used my old easton spine and sternum guard so i have some awesome shoulder guards

sorry man! right away my bro grabbed it for 50.00 haha fool but yeah if you have old shoulder guards put the spine protector on the pants it actually works good haven't felt a cross check yet

Tackla also makes a nice big lower back protector. Dominic Moore of the lightning has one stitched into his pants. It's more rectangular and gets some wrap.
