elpresidente99 1 Report post Posted January 19, 2011 Hello!!Just broke the hoder of my x60 and i gave it to my lhs to repair. The lhs told me that the steel was broken too, which i think wasn't. But now i have a skate with a new steel and a skate with the old one. DO i have to change the second skate too.LG
HockeySavants 5 Report post Posted January 19, 2011 unless you are getting identical set, you'd want to get matching holders/steel.What kind of holder is it?

Sport Freak73 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2011 the holder you might be able to get away with if you really dont want to buy new ones but the steel is a must because it will be different heights and will just screw up your skating.
bryan14 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2011 Get a new pair of blades. It makes things easier when you have matching size/profiled skate blades. A friend had a broken blade and just had one blade replaced and sharpend to match the other by our skate shop. The problem is he wasted half the blade to match the other. I'd recomend just buying the new steel for both your skates.
