Easton EQ50 Stick

Recommended Posts

I tried it withoiut tape , uncut , and no grip tape , all 4 weights in ...and I didn't like it ...as both my x-60 and s19 broke last week i had to give it a try ...after cutting , taping, removing one weight .... and adding tacki macs I have to say , ...now I like it ...could go lower in flex , but accuracy shooting is spot on ...slapshots are harder than with the 77 flex x-60 and wristers are ok as well ......will keep a close eye on durability and report back

you could of just bumped the old thread about the eq50 stick and continue the discussion there.

Since it was clear that he saw the old thread, you probably didn't need to not answer his question and point him to the old one.....

As for the actual question, my initial skate with it didn't go well. I didn't like how it felt or how it shot. It seemed heavy and sluggish. A month or two later I took it back to a practice just out of curiosity. I liked it better, but not enough to replace the 11K I've been using. I preferred the SE16. The idea of the weights is interesting, but maybe I'm just not used to having weight distributed through the stick as it is.
