Custom Skate Shops Near Vancouver

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody,

I have seen what JR does for some people with their messed up feet. While my feet arent as bad as most of those people, they are problematic. I have always had flat feet and needed orthotics in my shoes. As well I have worn Bauer skates for the past 5 years and have developed Haglunds Bumps on both my heels.

There are many more details that I brought up to JR, but I would be wasting my time describing them here.

What I am looking for is the name of someone reputable near Vancouver who could help me out with getting fitted for some skates that would help my feet. I want to be confident every time I step onto the ice that I wont have any pain, and right now I dont have that.

I too would be interested in this seems hard to find someone in Vancouver who knows how to work with problematic feet and knows the differences between skates brands with regards to fit.

Fit between brands/models is pretty common knowledge, and more or less all LHS employees should know.

Fitting for custom skates is a whole another story...

I would try Ice Level Sports in Richmond. I went to try on skates one day there and he told me I needed different size skates and offered me it, but I declined because I was just checking stuff out before I made an educated purchase so I'm sure they have some capability. With that being said, they have been the same company with same owners for as long as I can remember going back probably around 10-15 years and they are very knowledgable on just about everything. They have one of the best customer services for any kind of store. Also, everything in their store is mid to high end, but mostly high end equipment.
