hockey stick noise

I just got a new hockey stick and it makes a noise when i flex it. The noise is comming from the shaft and im sure that it has nothing to do with dried up glue. It seems that the more the flex it, the noise starts to go away. When i dont flex it for like 10 minutes and i flex it again. On the first flex the noise will be there but after that it is gone. Is my stick broken or is it just somethingn to do with the fact that its new and hasnt been flexed before.

Can you still use it to play? I have the same thing on my X60, but I dont give a rats arse.... just play with it. I doubt you'll be able to hear it when you are playing.

How new is it? I find that the nike Bauer models below xxx normally did this. I was always scarred it would crack or break on the spot :S

My X:60 does the same thing, but I think it's the inner plastic liner that makes it

pretty sure its the glue inside that crack, some time new stick does that
