Eagle PPF padding

Recommended Posts

So I have a pair of Eagle PPF gloves which have had the inner back hand padding cut out. They are great gloves and I would like to improve the fit. I find the gloves a bit loose without it and was wondering what my options were. Is it possible to get the padding installed? Any ideas?

When I was bidding on those I asked someone who lives in Calgary to check out a place for me but I cant remember the name. He said that they do a bunch of repair work if a place was able to do it, it would probably be them. He posts on here but I will ask him..

As said previously either email or call Elaine at Done Right Sports Repair. She does a ton of NHL players gear.

You could also try "Breakaway Sports Repair" also in Calgary. It's run by the former Flames equipment manager Gus Thorson.

Anyone have experience with this?

YES, and it irritated the hell out of me, i got a pair of some sweet 852s and they came with it cut out not only that but a sloppy cut, so i scored a pair of bauer 4 rolls from this rere and gutted them took that flap and put it in my 852s and put the 4 rolls where they belonged, in the trash. Call a repair shop though, or hit a play it again sports for used gloves and buy them gut them and use that.

It seems to be a somewhat common thing done in the NHL, alot of the pro stock gloves I have gotten had them removed. My best guess is its done to make the glove much roomier. I am not a fan as well.
