Identify Pro Stock S19 Sticks

Recommended Posts

I received 2 Ray Whittney Pro Stock S19 Sticks. They have some code #s on the back of the stick and was cusrious what they meant. The first stick is 08D615. Then further down they shaft it says W 4 HY 10. The next stick is 04D314 W 3 HY 10. Thanks in advance, BTW; Love these things. Lightest stick I have ever held and has taken quite a beating from idiots slashing and still going strong.

First: As always, thanks Chad.

Second: BostonJuniorBlackHawk,Had you read the thread from the begining my question wasnt orig. about the bar code but the markings on the shaft. I also stated that my stick does not have the same sticker as yours.

Ok, so what's the flex of that stick?

It's not always on there...........

I did read the thread from the beginning. I just pointed out that the other codes you keep asking about have no information to gain from because you keep asking pointless questions about them

Nothing pointless about wanting to know what codes means and hoping to find out about something that someone doesnt know. And if it doesnt mean anything then wouldnt it be pointless to print it? Really man, if you have nothing of value to add to this topic simply move onto another. Most of what you add on this site is good.

A2Rhino - I think what BJB is saying is that no one knows the answers for what you're asking. You keep asking the same question over and over again, and no one really knows for sure.

Even I'm having a hard time understanding what you need to know about your curve based on the barcode? Can't you just look at the curve and make a determination from there? And as far as flex, sometimes that's just how it is with Easton pro sticks. They aren't marked so you just have to do your best guess based on your experience.

QFT. That was what I was trying to get across. Both stevo8791 and Buzz_LightBeer suggested the batch info thing and you kept asking questions to figure out what ever you were searching for.

I have a few pro stock 100 flex SE16's that have a 'C' on the back and some 100 flex S19's that have 'E' on the back. The sticker on the top of the sticks are marked 'SYENHL 100 STYLES' and 'S19NHL GR PHANEUF CAL'. They both feel and play like 100's to me.

i bought a s19 from pshg and just got it. only letter in the code is a " Y " they advertised this as 100 flex, but theres no way. its like 80. its so whippy its retarted. Kind of sucks but i guess thats what you get with pro stock. I usually use min 100 flex, but if I can something higher. My Bieksa 107 flex is perfect. Now my new s19 is great for wristers and snaps, but my slappers is brutal.

how is pshg for actually geting flexes right on sticks they sell? I love the prices but dont want to get a stick that isnt the right flex even though they say its 100.
