innovative 1100 dual fit

Recommended Posts

i have the dual fit 1100 ops, although i have not had a chance to use the standered side, because i just broke the stick tonight. we were playing against our arch rivals and they scored to make it 2-0 in front of a big crowd and my anger just got the best of me and i smashed the stick on the post right before the fuse point. so im not sure if ill be using the standered side at all now because i can use it as a tapered shaft.

I played whith an Innovative 1100 last year, and I think that if you lay all you power on the stick, the shot been bad, but if you "just shot" the shot will be harder!

you're not supposed to try and kill the puck when taking a slapper. When i try to kill the puck i dont get much on the shot either. But when i take the Lindros type slapper its one of the if not the hardest in the league.

also if it was a dual fit stick and u had to flip the shaft over to fit in a standard or tapered wouldnt that make the shaft either to big or to small causing u to have to cut it down a bit when u have a standard blade in or putting in a knob if you have a tapered blade in.....or have they done something to fix that ?

anybody know ?

They probably haven't updated their site. I don't see the white Novius either and they have had problems with the upkeep. Alot of the weights were wrong before.

the shaft holds both standard and tapered blades but you have to use one side of the shaft depending on which blade you want to use....so if you wanted to use a tapered bladed youd have to put an extension in and if you decided to flip it over and use a standard bladed youd have to cut the shaft down, i just think it get kind of annoying, but i guess ill find out since i just ordered one

also, if you used the tapered end, wouldnt you be cutting off the other end where the standard blade sleeve is?

You would be changing the kickpoint of the standard end at the very least.

Not unless it is made so that the shaft flexes the same at both ends, which is entirely possible and has been done in the past.

But if the kickpoint is engineered to be 12 inches above the end as Inno claims making it shorter will change the kickpoint for that end. It would no longer be 12 inches from teh end. I'm not saying it wouldn't be effective anymore, just different.
