Pro Franchise cuff options

Recommended Posts

right now you have to speak directly with Warrior USA. Warrior Canada, oddly enough says they can't do any of that stuff. supposedly Warrior is on the verge of updating the online customizer with the cuff options.

also, there is no longer an upcharge for some of the custom cuffs. the ones i'm aware of that are included are: previous stock cuff, kovie, savard and hossa. there may be another one i'm not aware of but that's what i remembered.

I'd hate to be the person who paid $50 upcharge for a Hossa cuff.

Nice on Warriors end though..

Yes, those are the three additional options that are available at this point.

I see, Can anyone tell me know which of the three cuffs has the most mobility? I dont care about protection, If I could I would get mine like Kuznetsov has. Im guessing Savard has the most, but what do you guys have to say

Kovy looks like it would be great. I have the old cuff from the 2009s and if they had that cutout that the Kovys have on the underside they'd be perfect I think. Add the blooming cuff on top and it seems like it would be extremely mobile. Otherwise the Hossa and Savard look to be the shortest

They all have good mobility. It is more of a function of the length of the cuff. The short Savard cuff is more mobile than the standard length Savard cuff. And frankly, I think the longer Savard cuff is a little less mobile than the standard blooming cuff. The Hossa is very short and mobile, but I think the mobility comes from the length of the cuff, not the design of the cuff. This, to me, holds true of both the Savard and the Hossa.

I haven't played much with the Kovalchuk cuff.

I think a lot of people choose the cuff design for the looks rather than the function, frankly. I know I did, and was a bit surprised to find out just how mobile the blooming cuff is compared to the others.

I know a couple guys have. Good to hear this because I may have some more options to play with when I order my customs.
