pro stock bauer sticks

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys

did a search and couldnt find anything. Does anyone know where I could get my hands on pro stock total one bauer sticks? I would love a stamkos but no idea if thats something thats even doable. Could just be a pipe dream, so any would probably be fine. I have a pro stock Kevin Bieksa that I got from the canucks store here in vancouver, but the blade is really wierd and I mis fire alot. I love the shot when I hit it and cant beleive the speed, but I do flob alot if not placed right. Im used to a bigger curve and the beiksa is really mild and no toe. And because hes like the only canuck that uses a total one its the only pro stock I have access too here. I have looked around a bit on ebay and only saw one in the last month that was a wierd name i didnt recognize but still sold pretty fast.

If any one has any ideas please share

Thank you

Sometimes pro stock sticks show up on ebay. There are certain websites that carry Bauer pro sticks but its usually random what most places have. Check TSR or Prostockhockeygear usually stuff comes up on those sites.

This is your best bet. Sticks pop up on eBay every now and again, but the odds of it being the right shot, flex, curve, etc make it quite unreliable. Equipment sales are also a good opportunity to find the stick you want, but as you said, slim pickings in Vancouver. Check out TSR and PSHG to see what they and keep a watch because they get new shipments all the time.

Just curious, what's the appeal of pro stock here unless there's a particular curve that you're after? Price?

Pro stock sticks will have the player's name and stick detail codes printed on the nameplate of the stick as well as a disclaimer on the back of the shaft saying "Pro stock. Intended for professional use only."

No, it isn't. It's a mental thing.

Kevin Bieksa does not use a real Total ONE.

U serious? Whats a g3? Even weirder is it performs similar to my retail total one bit my shots are alot quicker especially slappers.

I'm new to the whole " pro stock" thing and heard about sticks being painted differently and stuff so how do u know what ur getting then? And why would he have a total one that's something else? Sorry if these are dumb questions but i am still new to hockey only been playing a few years

On the "namebar", what does it say? These codes tell Bauer folks all the information about the stick.

Yours is probably something like this...

K. Bieksa

0640-7

95

G3

The codes are probably a bit different though.

equipment pieces are big advertisements. If the TOTAL ONE is Bauer's new stick, they are probably going to make sure a lot of the NHL guys have sticks that look just like the TOTAL ONEs you would see in stores.

However, each player probably has a very specific stick they like (certain flex, blade pattern, shaft wall thickness, taper and flex points, etc.)

Says

0640-11 107

G3

Any ideas?

Now I'm really curious what it actually is?

breakdown

0640-11 first number is pattern code/player id the number after dash is version of that players curve

107 flex

g3 custom flex profile

Ok, the top number combo is a code for the specific player's stick. 0640 is going to be for Bieksa and the -11 has to do with that specific model. (as far as I know)

107 is the flex

G3 is said to be "custom flex profile", which as I understand it means that it's got a specific flex area for Bieksa's desire.

(the numbers I wrote are from my Bieksa ONE95)

So on the pro stock gear website if I see a total one show up that is a different players stick it may not actually be a total one? Or I noticed some said " dressed as" so I'm guessing different paint jobs on the eastons. I don't mind s19s to and was thinking of trying that with a different curve but see some that say dressed as "eq 50 "

Thanks for the help. Glad I signed up alot of great info on here and help ful people for rookies

Ah ok. Well whatever specs he has I have grown to like. I've noticed my slappers really come off. Must be why I think the performance is better then my retail total one. Plus it's 107 flex so I lean I'n pretty good and get some power behind it.

Ok so here's a question, I use alot of slappers is there a stick anyone uses and blade that they use that is really good for slappers and one timers? Different flex points ect?

Also thanks for the help. Hopefully I don't sound to rookie

I think we've figured out that O33 or O44 are Total Ones.

As far as "paint jobs",some players might like dark sticks only, or light sticks. So, for example, let's say Player A likes how a Total ONE plays, but only likes light graphics. They might get the graphics from an X:60 on their "Total ONE".

I like how my Bieksa stick shoots as well. It loads up super nice on slappers, but I haven't gotten used to the curve, so it mostly sits in my Canucks stick corner.

As far as sticks go, it's all up to you. Right now I'm on Kevin Westgarth AK27s and I picked up a few to hopefully last a while.

My suggestion to you is that if you find a pro stock stick you really enjoy, buy up as many as you can.

It does! Noticed right away. But your right the curve is messed lol. Anything off the toe I flob and anything near the heel is a bomb so it's hit or miss. Bombed a one t the other night everyone couldn't believe then get set up the same way and look like beginner the next time I try as it hits the toe and barely makes it to the net haha. Fun times. What kind of stick is the westgarth?

Bieksa's "Total ONE" has no comparisons to anything you'd find in retail. He is still using his "-11" batch... his newest batch (ending in -12) had more toe on it but he's back to using his previous ones.

Nobody on the Canucks uses a real Total ONE.
