GTA shop to do LP holder replacement?

Recommended Posts

Any recommendations on which shop to do LP2 holder replacement on S17 skates? I'm considering the change if i don't like the razorblades so i want to call around see check on pricing but more importantly figure out who will do a good job since carbon boots don't have alot of margin of error.

Also are razorblade holders and lightspeed sized differently? compared to my old skates (7.5d one95)263mm it looks like it almost lines up perfectly to the razorblades at 272mm (size 8d s17)

Decided to cut you some slack and not state the obvious.

263mm plus LS2.1 steel which is 8 mm longer gives you 271mm. That is how they get away with putting the smaller holder on the .5 Supremes.

whereabouts are you located?

I'm in Hamilton, but i was really happy with Steve the mangers work that i usually go there when i buy equipment but not sharpening cause it's quite the trek.

Since some of the guys work there on here do you guys carry step steel or can get them in?

I may skate on these for 90 days first since i'm concerned about the voiding the warranty changing holders i haven't skated on them yet and changing the laces i already noticed one of the leather panels becoming unglued.
