Warrior Pro Series Gloves, 2010

Recommended Posts

My glove saga began when I started playing again after about 10 years and my old Vic 550's were worked over. I race bikes and white shoes and kits are cool so I went out and bought a badass pair of TPS R10's in white, because I thought they were cool looking. Great glove but after reading numerous posts on here about wearing white gloves I started to feel a little self conscious, even though I'm 34 and self confidence isn't and issue I didn't want people to think I was a choad so I ordered up a pair of Custom Franchises. They should be here soon... Back to the point.

In the meantime I was looking for another pair of gloves so the rink rats at drop in and stick and puck would stop making fun of me and tried on some Bauer 4 rolls and Easton EQ Pros but just wasn't impressed. I have huge hands but am only 5'9 so my fingers were busting out of the 14's and the 15's were huge. I tried on a pair of Warrior Pro's and they were just amazingly comfortable. I bought a pair on sale from HW and after wearing them today for the first time today I have to say I am concerned that the Franchises, which cost almost 4 times more, have A LOT to live up to. The Pro's are just such a perfect glove.

I searched quite a bit when looking for them and found some great info on here- hopefully this will help someone.

If anyone sees any all black or vegas gold and blacks out there in a 14" let me know. I'm stocking up!

I've got Franchises but I've tried on the Pro Series; The Franchises definitely do feel better, but probably not by enough to warrant the extra money to a normal person.

The Pro Series is a great glove. I used it last season and got my Franchises in March. The difference in build quality is crazy. It just feels much more solid and professional. Its like Toyota vs Lexus. Toyota's arent bad cars, but Lexus is much nicer. I think you'll be happy with you Franchise's. That being said I didnt pay 4x more for my Franchises.

The Pros were $69 and I think my Franchises ended up being $209??? Bad math!

I'm not doubting the quality. I've tried quite a few pairs of the F's on and they feel really solid. I was able to get 1/4" longer fingers which should really help as well. The Pros just seem like a great value in a glove. Can't wait for the F's to show up!

I really thought I was taking a short cut by getting Warrior Pros, but when I tried on a pair of Franchises at the Cap's Pro Shop at Kettler I knew the difference the moment I slipped the gloves on. Well worth the cash
