Need a high quality bag.....with a shoulder strap

Recommended Posts

Looking for a nice bag for my gear. Thought I bought a nice Bauer one less than a year ago but it has some kind of white coating inside that is falling off now and every time I remove my equipment its like a snow globe in the locker room......

Need something with a shoulder strap.

I searched and see SMI is a good bag option but no shoulder strap mentioned in their site. Same with Fury.

Any other options?

Check out your local outdoor store (ie like mountain equipment coop). They travel duffel bags that are high quality. Perhaps you will find one that is an okay size for you

If you happen to live in Montreal, Sharp makes some truly outstanding bags. Big, very solid, outside pocket for skates, huge shoulder straps that surrounds the bag so they can't rip and I'd say they're pretty nice looking, clean, simple look. If you don't sorry I can't help you!

Hockeytron is offering their wheeled and unwheeled bags for free ship, 20% and no tax today only. Don't know the quality or durability but seems for the price worth trying it out. Coupon code is "TRONBAG". I added it to my cart and the wheeled bag comes out to $31.99 shipped. hope that helps.

I have a Easton bag I have had it at least two years and I use it 4 times a week its probably the best bag I've owned where the straps have help up.

How big of a bag do you need? My warrior bag has a shoulder strap and I have had no durability issues with it.

The Warrior Eraser carry bag is definitely worth looking at - I've only had mine for a few months, but so far it shows no signs of wear and I love it. It has a shoulder strap, an end pocket for accessories and internal skate pockets. It also has a 1000 denier Nylon outer shell which is very durable. It's also shorter than other bags I've had, but deeper. This means it can fit all my equipment with ease, but is easier to get in and out of the trunk. The 2011 Vandal is very similar, but I think it only has 1000 Denier Nylon in high wear areas and 600 Denier everywhere else...so if you can find the 2010 Eraser (perhaps even on clearance), that's what I'd go with.

this bag seem to be pretty legit.... looks like a lot of the bags that the NHL teams are using

This is the bag I've been using for the past 2 years and I can attest to its durability. I play 2-3 nights per week and this thing still looks like the day I bought it. It's a tad big, but it's nice to be able to throw your stuff in without regard to how it is situated.

Yeah, not sure how many NHL teams are using a Hockey Monkey exclusive bag. May be similarly styled, though.

thats what i was getting at....not the actual hockey monkey bag, just the style and size of the bag
