Phenom Hockey Gloves

Got an email ad today for Phenom Phantom Hockey Gloves for $50. Anyone heard of these? I see them also at PSHG, but that's it.

According to Hockey Tron ad, the list price is $229. Now,I understand that this whole "list price" idea is just a ploy to make it seem like a good deal, but $229 seems like a particularly outrageous claim, even in context. Is there really a belief that this is a top tier glove? Something that could claim $129, let alone $229?

It could certainly be that this is a fine company that I haven't heard about, but now I'm curious.

I have seen these gloves before on PSHG too, and they are pretty cool looking. And for 50 dollars thats not all that bad.

They look alot like either the New Tour 4-roll type glove or Combat/ballistik 45 Cal. gloves?

I was at Tron hockey while on vacation a few weeks ago and I tried them on. They are pretty nice for $50-60. I'd have purchased them if I wasnt making an applied effort to stop buying gear I dont need.

The phenom glove is really nice, especially at that price. Tufftek style exterior, plastic inserts, very flexible. I'm not a big fan of the logo color, but thats me.
