SergeiSnipesonov24 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 I'm a big fan of the Easton zetterberg curve or anything that resembles it for that matter. The problem for me however is that they mostly come in a 5 lie and I tend to be slightly more upright when skating. I was wondering if anyone knows of a manufacturer that makes that pattern in a true 6 lie? One of the best all around curves that a player can use.
chippa13 1844 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 I believe that once the Warrior customizer comes online that your problem will be solved.
SergeiSnipesonov24 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 Do you have any experience using a 6 lie warrior? Do they play like a true 6 lie or are they a 6 lie that play like a Easton or Bauer 5 lie?

There is no universal lie angle system in place, each manufacturer manufactures to their own specs.:edit: but you probably mean an Easton 6.
SergeiSnipesonov24 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 Ya sorry well I guess for Easton it's a 5.5 and for Bauer it would be 6. So basically I'm looking for something that has a higher lie than the Easton zetterberg. Thanks for your help.
Burning Bear 76 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 Well, Warrior does offer the Savard curve, their Zetterburg clone, in 3 different lies on their Dolomite stick. While I have no idea how the numbers really match up against one another, what you could do is take an Easton Zetterburg to a shop and match it up against a Warrior Savard lie 6 and see if the Warrior is higher. If no one around carries the curve in that lie, what I might do then is buy the Dolomite online in the specs I want (flex, grip, etc.) preferably from somewhere that offers free shipping and if the stick works out, you're in business. Worst case scenario is that you pay return shipping, but you can rule out the Savard lie 6 in your search. Good luck.
dnoboy 5 Report post Posted August 3, 2011 There is a definite difference between Savard lie 6, and a regular Easton Zetter. I am in the same boat as you and I find that Warrior is the only option we have. I find the most cost effective way to do it is buy the Dolomite blades and pair them up with a tapered shaft. steelnation248 102 Report post Posted August 3, 2011 I believe BASE offers all, or at least most, of their non-pro stock curves in 3 different lies. I have not tried any of their curves except the Hossa pro so I can't say how close their Zetter clone is to Easton's, etc...
