Total One Girdle/Core pad tearing

I bought the Total One Girdle back in July and I started getting tears inside the girdle where my butt was. Right under the belt I had two giant holes on each side. At first I thought it was my garter belt but the tears didn't even match where my garter would hang. I also noticed the Velcro belly strap was completely falling apart. Ice Warehouse contacted Bauer for me and was able to get me a return. I'm going to be receiving a new pair in the next few weeks.

Has anyone else experienced similar stitching problems on these pads? I'm nervous that the same thing will happen to my replacements.

Don't own these myself, but if you're worried about wear in particular spots in your replacement girdle, couldn't you just get a seamstress to sew on some reinforcing patches in the key areas? Shouldn't be too tough to do as girdles tend to have removable pads.

Yeah a year or so down the road after some normal wear and tear but not within the first month. These weren't normal holes or tears. They were just poorly stitched.

sorry to hear of your trouble :( from my personal experience the product is definitely NOT a lemon!

I've had One95 girdle (+ matching supreme shell) which is pretty much exactly the same as One90 & TotalOne ever since it came out over 2 years ago, and it's still in great shape showing minimal signs of wear & tear.

Unless the quality went down the drain lately the only thing I could think of: is it the right size for you (both girdle itself & the shell)? Is it moving with you when you skate or is it moving against you?

The size is perfect. It moves with me and I feel no awkwardness or restraint. Pretty sure I just got a lemon and wanted to see if it was a common problem.

I have the One95 girdle and have no problems with the stitching or with the material tearing.

I've been using the Total One Girdle since April playing 2-3 times per week with no issues at all. There is some fraying when the velcro sticks on the girdle but no other issues. Good luck with the new one.
