Information on TPS Stick

Recommended Posts

Good morning Gents,

I have a TPS Adrenaline Model C12 It is Blue

Precision Made In Canada

Messier

Regular Flex

Toward the end of stick by the blade is a number # 05 133 A 054

What is regular flex in terms of #? Is it a 100 flex?

Furthermore what is the construction of the stick, is it profesional use? ect. I picked it up used in very good condition from a garage sale. Looks pretty much like new.

Thanks guys

According to the "flex chart" link at the top of the page it is 90-95. As for the stick, it sounds like a regular retail model.

It's a high end stick from 2005 or 2006. I also have one but mine is the grip version (black and lime green). Not my fave stick, it seems to lack the pop my other sticks have. But it's an absolute tank.

I got this description from Perani's website : New for 2006: Adrenaline CONTROL with TPS exclusive grip is our latest stick to take the NHL by storm. TPS Exclusive lightweight XN10 carbon reinforced with Kevlar™ yields the most durable high-performance one-piece stick. Proprietary Sims Shock Relief insert to reduce vibration in the hands for improved puck feel. Pre-preg graphite blade with proprietary core yields Pro level stiffness and weight. New Control textured coating provides grip without that "sticky" grip feel.

xn10 is wicked. Still have 3 RLXN10 shafts (thank you sickwilly and JR!) and they can take the abuse.

The various XN10 sticks are great performing sticks, but durability was always their weak point. If you just shoot, they're fine. If there is slashing and hacking involved, they do not hold up well at all.

For the most part, I've had good luck with the durability of my XN10 shafts. I had one RLXN10 break after 4 beer league games. It took a direct hit from a slapshot on the side of the shaft. I chalked that one up to bad luck. I find that the paint chips easily, so they get ugly pretty quickly. I have used them in games without a ton of hacking, though.

I have a blue Adrenaline shaft that I'm guessing may be similar to yours. I like it so far, but haven't used it much. Enjoy your find.
