shoeshine boy 242 Report post Posted September 19, 2011 I've got a statistical quandary I could use some help on. in my beer league game yesterday we were leading 3-1 in the last few minutes, the 3rd goal coming on an empty net. the other team scored to make it 3-2 in the last 45 seconds but were never able to tie it up. does their goalie still get a loss since he didn't actually let in the winning goal? discuss. interpathway 9 Report post Posted September 19, 2011 I believe yes. Someone must take an L and a W for each game, and with only one goalie on the score sheet, the L must be his. I can't imagine a ___________ being listed as the Ling goalie.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted September 19, 2011 The team was behind when the goalie was pulled, so the loss goes to him. Had the game been tied or of you were winning and pulled the goalie (I know, as if that would happen) then the loss should not go to him.
