coaching: track suit

Recommended Posts

Nothing came in the search so here we go:

which track suit is the most light weight/breathable?

I have bauer vapor which is supposedely lighter then supreme, but it still wears really hot - I'm sweating buckets in it!

any advice would be much appreciated!

I have a couple of the reebok ones. Very light, doesn't hold moisture, doesn't smell and I barely sweat at all in it

which model are you referring to? RBK didn't even pop on my radar since (my son has 49XX model and it looks quite warm to me so maybe there're other models I've not seen?

in general there's only one response - does it mean nobody else is using warmups/track suits?

In my case, the rinks I have coached at are either cold, or outdoors, so I want the heavy liner in the Supreme jacket/pants. I actually didn't get the Vapor because it was light weight, so if that one's still too heavy for you I can't vouch for an alternative from personal experience.

If it were me, I'd look for anything without a liner, and with armpit zips. I think the Easton Vent Air jacket fits both of those categories, or the Reebok 34XX series? If it's not essential that it has a hockey brand logo on it, maybe look at track suits for warm-weather sports?

Another option might be to get one of the more expensive 2-piece coats where you can remove the fleece liner from the shell. Wear only the shell for practice when you're on the ice and zip in the fleece for games when you're on the bench and not moving around?
