s4gobabygo 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2011 it's time to replace my jock/garter shorts (below). i can't seem to find them anywhere in my size (medium), and i can't seem to find anything similar either. as a last resort i guess i could get one of the velcro ones and have the garter straps sewn on, but that's a pain. can anyone help? thanks!!! mhkehoe 1 Report post Posted October 2, 2011 I haven't seen anyone producing those shorts anymore.Any reason you don't like using the velcro on the shorts? I just recently started wearing one of those and it seems to hold without any issue. Maybe my opinion will change after the velcro is used for a while. xrickyb86x 1 Report post Posted October 4, 2011 Hockey tron sells these little beauties for guys in your situation.http://www.hockeytron.com/1111.htmlI bought some just for the replacement pieces for my regular garter. I've used them on some velcro shorts I have and they work perfectly. I'll get a pic up soon.
spyjunior 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2011 I've resorted to using the mesh shorts with the velcro tabs, and wearing the stand-alone Reebok garter belt over the top. I have some pro-stock RBK socks that don't have velcro tabs, so I need the garter. I just keep the tabs on the shorts velcroed together. Also, I can use the belt with either my mesh shorts, or my back-up lycra shorts.
