Trade season open early this year?

Kaberle already shipped off a sinking ship in Carolina to try and shore up the Habs powerplay and the Devils picking up Foster from a sputtering Ducks squad. Two teams filling holes (more likely) or bubble team GM's trying to get a jump on the possible "prizes" of the deadline?

to many bubble teams have a chance, so i dont see anything big happening, Habs, caps, and lightning all have the players just not getting the wins. But the Jets and Sens might do something to get them in.

out west its just a mess, ducks,and kings are just lost puppies, ducks have 10 FA next year, so they might move some of those out of town.

wild have space but have 13 guys unsigned next year, and some are due for a some more $$$. blues are in the same boat, but i could the blues get a vet rental for the playoffs

There are always a couple moves made over the course of the season. We aren't seeing a domino effect, so this isn't an early open to the trade season.
