Ovechkin's game stick curve

I notice that the CCM Crazyovi curve is different from the newer Bauer P08 Ovechkin one. The CCM one is much more radical. Which is his acutal playing curve?

The Bauer version is his "legal" curve.

CrazyOvi (COVI) is old and illegal Ovechkin Curve - him don't use it curve (this curve for fans and marketing). Bauer P08 is "legal" Ovechkin Curve - and he us it in NHL.

I also see that for 2012 CCM has changed the name CrazyOvi to Crazy Curve CRZ but kept the curve. Guess this has to do with Ovechkin leaving CCM for Bauer. I really like the CCM curve man, the open toe curve is amazing wicked.

Is the Warrior Kremlin curve more like the Crazy Ovi or the Bauer? Meaning is it legal or not?

The Crazy Ovi and Kremlin are very similar. The p08 is milder than both.

Does anyone know for sure if the CrazyOvi is legal or not...? I've heard people tell me both legal and illegal. It sure doesn't look like that could be legal.

Why is this so hard to understand?

Some players in the league use an illegal curve. To avoid a stick infraction penalty (usually in situations where being a man down would hurt their team's chances of winning the game), they will switch to a legal curve to avoid that. The Bauer P08 is Ovechkin's legal curve.

It was measured wrong, the crazi ovi isn't even close to being legal.

Many pros have multiple curves that are all there "actual curve". They switch around depending on situations or how they feel that day.
