Totalone Pant or Easton RS pant

Recommended Posts

I tried on the RS and thought it was incredibly light. Almost the same weight as the One80 pants that I have. Fit was too short as I require a tall length and they didn't have one out at the time. Closure system I was questioning seemed actually decent? I haven't tried the T1.

Just got home from my game, and I loved the pants. SUPER light weight, and they breathed very good. Also very flexible, and moved well with every movement I made. The quick closure system was really nice too. I would highly reccomend these.

Have the T1 but have not tried the RS. Very pleased with the pants. Fit me well, are light and comfortable, and more protection than I really need. Came from Nike/Bauer XXV and I prefer the Supreme fit over the Vapor fit. Its probably going to be one of those things where you need to try them on yourself and see which ones fit you the way you want them to.

Any idea how they compare to the Rbk 9k? Do they fit like the Rbk or like traditional pants? Also how do they compare to them in terms of weight / mobility. Thanks in advance!

I have the TotalOne pants. They're pretty lightweight, breathe well and have good protection all around. I do wish that they weren't so beefy in the upper/back area but otherwise they're nice.

I have the TotalOne pants (had them about 3-4 weeks or so) and they are really nice, light and protective. I went with them since they were readily available in Tall. I also looked at the EQ50 - the RS was just coming out. I don't think you can go wrong with either the T1 or RS. It'll come down to fit preference mainly.

The only weird thing about the T1 is the belt is routed partly on the inside, so it invades the skin on your hips/waist right on the sides. Cinch then tight and even with a jock-shorts/shirt underneath and you'll feel the belt webbing. I took an old pair of leather exercise gloves (you know, the ones with the finger tips exposed) and cut off a "tube" from the fingers. Then I took the belt off and routed it through the tube, to act as a covering for the belt. Works great. Looks like it was there all along (hint, hint Bauer... ask me about it).

Just to follow up, Winger is dead on about the T1 belt system. Thing dug right into my outer hips something fierce. It is the one and only reason I went with the RS's over the T1's. Too bad too cause they were really comfortable and had lots of room up top. The quick release belts on the RS's do work very well though and so far and I'm quite happy with them. It's cool that you were able to mod them to have them comfortable though dude.

i thought the t1s are a bit heavier compared to the RS...tried both and decided to go with Eagle PX88. i really like it, awesome protection, breathes good and is prob just as heave as the t1s BUT when it comes to pants you know u can trust EAGLES because theirs basically tacklas (eagle bought tackla).
