Do E Blade holders fit older Pro Tacks?

Hi all. I haven't played in a while, so my gear is a little dusty. My skates are Pro Tacks, pretty sure I got them in 03. I ordered new steel because the runners are pitted all to hell, but then I discovered that one of the holders cracked too.

My question is whether or not the newer E-blade holders fit the Pro Tacks boot, with or without redrilling. ProLite holders are pretty hard to find nowadays. I don't want to buy new skates, because I don't have $500 lying around and I love these boots.

The hole patterns are not the same, but the steel is.

So I would need to have the holes drilled, but the holders should fit?

Any holder would fit; that's not the issue.

K thanks. I ordered a pair of E-Pro holders, which are also really hard to find in 287. Are most shops willing to drill new holes, or is it something I might have to call around to find?

The trick isn't in finding a shop willing to do it, but finding a shop that will do it correctly. It isn't rocket science but I've seen a number of misaligned holder jobs, and the fewer holes you have to have drilled the better. Take it to whomever has the better reputation for repairs in your area.
