If I'm not mistaken, the APX and Widow are low-kick sticks. Might be better off with something that has a mid-flex like a Total One. Flex is up to you and your preferences. 67 flex of intermediate started feeling like a noodle to me on the X60 once I started working out again, so I'm using a senior 77 now.

why not try them out and see what works for you? There is no 'one' stick for anyone, as each person's shooting style is going to be different.

I get really good snappers with my X60, yet cannot shoot slapshots and wristers hard with it. However it suits my style of shooting, where I have little or no windup for a snapper. I practice my snapshots off a board that is 1' x 2'

Are those your only options?

I loved my Widow, but the durability was awful. Also, I rarely take slappers and one-timers.

Can't comment on the other two, personally.

Objectively, when using mid-kick sticks versus low-kick sticks, my shot speed went up on mid-kicks. That was using a radar gun. That said, my slapshot is terrible and it wasn't a significant increase, so it probably has more to do with technique.

I cut my stick to chin-length on my feet, which comes out to around my collarbone on skates. I'm guessing I cut it two inches or three inches. There are plenty of great threads about the appropriate stick-length on here, do a search and see if any of them help. I can flex the 67 intermediate pretty easily, the 77 senior not that much.
