Junior skates for narrow feet

Recommended Posts

Figured that I would ask now, 'cuz it will only become more of an issue in the future...... My daughter is currently in a size 3 Rebok 4k pumps that are a little bit wide. We have a fun time finding skates due to poor selection for fitting locally.. She has narrow feet and since she inherited them from me I know from experience that most stock skates are usually too wide for someone with narrow feet.

What I need to know is which (if any) manufacturer tends to run narrow in the junior size widths. Her previous skates were Bauer (don't recall model number maybe one05 or one15 but they had the blue accent on the heel cups) and fit decently.

The skates you're thinking of are probably the One35s. The best route would be to try a bunch but I'm sure by now, everyone knows that. Try Bauer Vapor, maybe even Easton Synergy. I believe CCM used to have C width skates at retail but only on higher end models and I don't know if they're available in JR skates. Failing these, maybe Graf?

I have narrow feet as well, and used to wear CCM's since they came in a C width. When it came time to get new skates, I searched high and low, and no one makes a C width these days unless you go custom, except for Graf. I ended up getting some Grafs in a narrow and they fit like a glove.

I tried Reeboks and I thought they were too wide so I stuck with Bauers since they fit tighter around my feet. I'm a jr size 3 skate ifvthat helps.
