Best mid-range stick for $100

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I've always wanted to play ice hockey since I've been a kid, and I'm finally going to start at 22... I played a little street hockey, and can ice skate pretty well.

The stick I'm currently looking at is an Easton Stealth S15 Grip Left/85/Iginla Blade. The price is around $106 shipped. I just want to know if this is the best stick I can buy for my money. If it matters, I'm 6'1" 160 pounds.

The Reebok Ai5 and Easton S65 are both very good for what they cost. One95s are also good if you can find them. Dolos are decent as well as 9ks from what I hear.

So is the 65s better than the s15? They are both the same price from the site I'm ordering from.

I was going with the s15 because it retails for almost $100 more than the 65s (I know a horrible way to compare, but I don't really have enough knowledge to look at specifications).

I really like the durability, feel, and weight of the Sher-wood T90. For $129 it compares with most of the other sticks that are more expensive.

I've really been impressed with the new Graf sticks and the G45 is a really nice one around the $100 range. Might want to check that one out.

i like the iginla blade and the kane from Baure as well. I purchased a couple today. i stopped playing hockey when i was 14 and getting back into it now and Im 25. But just curious to know why you went with the intermediate stick instead of the senior size sticks. if you're 6'1'' and 160 lbs.

sorry, i did some research and they have the senior size too, at first i thought they only came in the int. size. so im assuming you got the senior size.
