Did it used to allow hockey there? I've seen a few of what I call "date skate" places, a classic example being the Rockefeller Ice Rink in Manhattan.

Ha ha, I would not be surprised--there is no fence to hop. But then again, the way the ground slopes away, and with the current lack of snow, pucks would be a bitch to chase.

We were skating there again Sunday morning. It's a great setting for family skating. A guy skating with his daughter was wearing a Canadiens home jersey (Price). I managed not to yell Go Habs.

You've got the harbour on two sides; there's the yacht club and another marina; a huge freighter was looming over the industrial docks. The facility only opened a year ago--I didn't realize.
