Eagle Fusion gloves

Recommended Posts

One of my LHS's is having a 20% off X-mas discount on Eagle gloves so I broke down and bought a pair of split-fingered Fusions. Then I looked on the Eagle web site and the pictures of the Fusions have X70 labeled on them.

What are the differences between the Fusions and the X70's?

My friend has fusions with goatskin palms. I really like them. They fit noticeably tighter than other Eagles. I think the main difference is the fit.

Thanks guys.

I believe mine have either the clarino or suede palms, they're a brown/tan color, darker than normal beige nash.

I'm totally digging the fit. They fit alot like my old Mission Warp Zeros which I also like alot: easy open-close grip, index finger never gets in the way of grabbing the stick, knuckles bend just right. I can't wait to use them tonight or tomorrow.

Micro suede, which is standard for 2005.

The photo on the website was an early pic. It will not say X70 on it when you get it.

Differences between the two gloves is that the Fusions have a slimmer fit than the X70s.

Does the "Split Finger" mean that the finger padding is actually two pieces or not? I cant stand one piece fingers on a glove it drives me nuts and takes me ages to break them in. Is there an Eagle glove that is 2 or even 3 piece wise on the fingers?

Lastly are there any Eagle gloves that compare to the XX or XV in terms of a tight fit palm?

Thanks for clearing that up, Marcelo. Is the web site going to change to reflect that? I found the X70 label to be a bit misleading and confusing.

Yes, it is two pieces.

Yes, Fusion's are available in 2 piece, sometimes as a stock item.

As far as any Eagle gloves that compare to others, unfortunately, I have not tried them on. I've been a bit busy.

I don't handle the website, but, I am sure they will change it when they can.

I am told that a new site for 2005 is coming, complete with a customizer that is different than what everyone else has.

They had only one other pair in all black w/split fingers and the micro suede, but then the LHS is somewhat small and never ordered many of the Fusions to begin with. I may have seen more at other LHS's, don't recall.
