having a hard time finding jerseys and socks that fit right...suggestions?

Don't really have any stores with a big selection in the area so i've had to try ordering on line.

I'm 5'8 195, large bauer supreme one 40 shoulder pads, medium easton stealth elbow pads, medium bauer x3.0 pants.

so far i've tried kamazu practice jersey in large which was way too big so I went with a medium. The medium was too long, torso/chest fits ok, arms are a tad short and pretty tight.

chest/torso is spot on. sleeves are long enough, but pretty tight. they seem to stretch well though so it's been the best fit so far.

i hear the ccm's are cut huge so I'm going to stay away from them. looking for something fitted in the chest/torso but some room in the arms so they aren't so tight.

And for socks i ordered the senior reebok socks. the 30 inch ones. I wear 14 inch shins. the socks were pretty long. should intermediates work or are they a lot smaller?

No two set of jerseys will fit the same. Some will be baggier than others, IMO better to be bigger than tighter. If they are too long, you can tuck them in your pants or even hem them.

Stay w/ adult socks, you can pull them higher or even cut the tops. Also consider wearing them out over your ankle to take up space.

Try ebay, local Play it Again and Thrift shops too...

I use Intermediate reebok edge socks. The Adult were too long. I'm 5'8 ish, 175 14" Vapor 5.0 knee pads...

We sell lots of INT edge socks to adults. They're usually long enough if the player is ~5'10" or under. They're a little smaller in width, so if you use very wide shin pads it can be a tight fit, but with a Vapor shin I'd guess it's probably fine. I'm 5'11" and can use INT socks, the Adult just fit better in width and I deal with the extra length by using a garter instead of the velcro.

I'm 5'9" Easton EQ30 15" shins and the Reebok INT socks fit great, not too loose or too tight.
