i think modano was the last one..great line of skates. i found a pair of 2000 year 1052 tacks barely ever worn, but that sat around a lot..eyelets were falling apart. replaced 12 of them and they're like new. SO comfortable, and durable.

Yep, fairly certain that the Tacks were retired from the league along with Mo.

I have a pair of Pro Tacks from like 2003 that are just awesome. They don't fit too well anymore, but I loved them. Only bad thing about them was that they came with Proshite 3 holders. Somehow the rear towers cracked in my bag.

I am currently trying to break in a pair of Super Tacks. I bought them from a guy who used it maybe half a dozen times and I just finished my 4th skate in them. Tacks fit my feet like a dream and my first 3 pairs of skates were all Tacks before I switched to Bauer Supremes. I'm still rocking Pro Tacks pants from 8 years ago.

I keep my old Supremes in my trunk in case something happens to the holders.
