Our CA5 would be a great option for you at $229. Also, we have a CA4 launching in October for $189.99. Our skates have a minimum advertised price, so all dealers should have a similar price.

I'd get the Alkali skates, wouldn't even consider the competition now.

The Mission T6's have horrendous lace bite. The tongue is soooo bad. nice boot etc but the tongue lets this skate down massively.

Waiting to order the new Alkali RPD's in October....

Also you may want to hold off - I believe Mission etc will be releasing their new lines very shortly so you may get good closeout deals on the current line (as they move over to old line)

Still think Alkali is your best bet.

The T-6 is a great skate for the money, but as Kanya mentioned, lace bite is a problem and was a big problem for me. Lace bite pads should be a fix though.

Good advice. If your goal is to get good skates for under $200 then being a little patient and looking for closeout deals over the next month or so may be a good idea. I've read the release date for the new Mission skate line is September 15th - if the release dates are similar for the other roller manufacturers then any current lines being replaced should drop in price soon (if they haven't already - I haven't been shopping for rollerhockey skates myself lately).

Concerning the Mission T6's: the first thing I pointed out to my friend when he bought them was the strange padding layout on the tongue. Having a small foot he probably doesn't get that problem. Unless he does but chooses to ignore it.

This picture shows the T6's tonuge.

There is literally no padding in the center of the tongue.

I have a small-ish foot too (size 7 in skates) and ive never experienced lacebite in my T6's, they are the best skate ive owned to date and personally i think they are a great value.

True. I just found that the T6 tongue ruined the whole boot. Much much better options out there. One of the best boots I've worn recently was a conversion I did myself - Nike One90 boot and a Mission Hi-lo. Super light, One90's weren't the best for ice but its been great for roller. You can snag a pair of One90's pretty cheap via ebay nowadays and theyre solid. I still love my original Mission Wicked Lights though ha ha!

Maybe a conversion would be better (and cheaper?) for you. best of both worlds and you'd get something high end for cheap if you look hard enough.
