Both the Flyweight and L2 are tapered, I thought it was essentially the same shaft with a new paint job. Also the 85 and 100 flex as opposed to the old format and only one shaft shape, but I could be wrong on that they are the "same"

My Synthesis has served me well for slightly more than a full year now. I might still be using my meta. Flyweight if I didn't find it so flexy. I still give alot of credit to the Flyweight for being ahead of its time when it first came out.

I've never disliked any shaft as much as I disliked my synthesis. It was mostly the blade though.

I guess some people might know my stand on the flyweight by now but I still think it was/is the best shaft ever produced. I'm more of the long hosel tapered shaft guy myself so none of the newer tapered shafts really interest me very much.

I just got a closeout list from a vendor that has old t-flex shafts still available.
