Anyone try the Base hockey sticks?

At my rink tonight they had some stuff set up and I went over to see what they were selling. basically they make custom sticks designed to your liking , they film you shooting some pucks with different shots and they recommend a stick for you depending on the size, curve, flex and whatever kick suits you. I searched online for reviews of their sticks but couldn't find a good one. The guy was telling me there big on the west coast like BC and Alberta.

Anyone here ever try one of their sticks? I made a thread a few days ago about switching from Easton to Bauer sticks but I may give this a go if they are good!

i have one with BC01 curve the blade has a hot face and i like the shaft with the low kick. everybody in my mens league has remarked about the speed and velocity of my shot.

From what people have told me they love base sticks and say base is there favourite sticks. They kick hard and have great customizable options, I would recommend one.

I have two (one retail, one custom) and they are pretty good sticks for the price. I wouldn't say that they're the best sticks I've played with (One95, XN10) but they're good.

I've been thinking of getting a pair of Base sticks, but have a few questions.

1) How have people liked the Natural vs. the Savoy?

2) I hear they play whippier than rated. Im using a nexus 1000 87 flex and want it a tiny bit stiffer than that. I was thinking maybe 95 flex?

3) What shaft shape would be closest to the Nexus? I hate the TotalOne shaft, so I don't want it that square.

Never used the Natural, but I have the SuperNatural now, and used the Savoy. I definitely am more of a fan of the SuperNatural, but they play a lot whipper than my 77 flex Nexus 1000. Wish I would have ordered an 80-85 flex. It does resemble my Nexus shaft shape more than the TotalONE though.

Also play with the Supernatural now. I will say it's got better feel than the Savoy... easier to take passes, stick handle. It's also quite a bit lighter.

I use the SuperNatural now as well. I have a savoy special but that is now my back up. I would say the SuperNatural is the stick I prefer a lot more. I like the polar fibre grip and the stick is lighter. But my shots are harder and more accurate and the SuperNatural has more pop. Also the feel is great, I feel the puck really well with this stick too, best feel I've had on a stick for the puck IMO.

you talk about feel with the puck. Same for both sticks or prefer one over the other??

I use the SuperNatural now as well. I have a savoy special but that is now my back up. I would say the SuperNatural is the stick I prefer a lot more. I prefer the feel of the SuperNatural, I find it has better feel.
