75 flex shafts

Recommended Posts

So my se16 shaft snapped the other day and I'm looking to replace it. It was a one piece that i had chisled out the blade from.I want to get another one but easton of coarse doesnt make 75 flex shafts. I'm thinking about getting an apx shaft but im worried it will be too stiff. I'm 5'11 but i like my sticks short so I will have to cut it and I've heard that they already play stiff. I'm looking for other options and I know most companies dont make 75 flex shafts.

1. Does the mako shaft's flex start 3 inches lower on the stick like the mako one piece sticks?

2. What are some good 75 flex shaft options?

Reebok/CCM/Warrior/Sherwood all offer 75 flex shafts and Bauer has the 77 flex shafts. Think Easton is one of the few that doesn't but plenty of other options out there.

not sure if i'm missing something in your OP, but last time i checked, easton does make 75 flex shafts...at least for their tapered models. they made it in the se16, eq50 and now in the mako. bauer, warrior, ccm and reebok all also make tapered shafts in 75 flex. are you talking about standard shafts maybe?

Doesn't mean they don't make them. Stores are carrying less S+B combos and less and less of the more unpopular whippier ones. Do a search for the Warrior Dolomite shaft on here, there are some good discussions about that comparing with Reebok, Easton, CCM and Bauer shafts. That should be all the info you need in the older threads.
