PSHG Works Specs

Recommended Posts

Their 'works' glove is an exact replica of an NHL players glove that you want. So, lets say you want the exact same gloves that Derek Roy uses. You fire off an email to them saying you want those exact gloves. Bam. Done. Another aspect of it is that it gives you every option available to the pros, for CURRENT glove models.

Really depends on what you wanna go with. Drop them an email, they're usually very quick to respond and can answer any questions you have. I've used them a couple times for various gloves, sticks, and hopefully pants here soon. No complaints from me.

Ok that makes sense. I don't have a specific player in mind, I was just looking to get some new gloves customized. When I started filling out the form, I saw all the different options and frankly I wasn't sure what they all were. For example, I'm not sure what the differences are between the different palm types, back rolls, etc. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get any kind of response from them yet so I was just looking for some explanations. While I'm waiting on them, any info on the various options and their differences? Never realized gloves had so many different options. Thanks

First and foremost, just do a google site search of MSH for every single term: most of it will have been discussed.

I can say that the kind of EPP used in the Easton gloves I've seen is lighter and less dense but much more resilient than LD60 (Plastazote), which is relatively soft but doesn't rebound terribly well.

Pittards is a British brand of goatskin, and they have a website. What PSHG has listed is probably WR100X.

Beyond that, I'm just surprised they only offer polyester, Tufftek nylon, and a flat PU leather as shell materials. Write-in ballot might help there...

If you don't know specifically what each option is and what you want, maybe you should research some of your favorite gloves used. Take some time to figure out the materials and specs for the glove and piece together an ultimate pair of gloves for yourself. I did that with the pair I had made and I couldn't have been happier

Thanks for the help.

I was able to speak with someone there today, as they recommend, and they walked my through each option. Chris was extremely helpful.
