Why would they support an event designed to highlight the fact they have stopped the season?

A friend of mine came up with a great idea for this gig so I'll share it...

Anyway he decided to call all his local radio stations to try to get this idea promoted, he said that one WILL play this message and others are considering it. If its not too much trouble I highly encourage others to do this as well! Thanks guys! :D

Somehow it got on a radio stattion here in Edmonton. I spreaded it around in class and Im going to get it on the announcment. Hopefully ill get a couple hundy kids.

Ya, true enough. I just email Q107 and phones Citizen Q and left a message there about the Knockout the Lockout thing. Also e-mailed edge 102.1 about it. Hopefully it gets air time. If anyone hear else listens to the Mighty Q or Edge and hears anything post ASAP!

A guy on another PMed me to say that he's getting people from the Ottawa Region to play street hockey in the parking lot at the Corel Centre as a protest.

I said that he should get one team with white Sens jerseys and one with Red or Black sens jerseys :D

We did see some air time...only not the kind we were looking for. Derringer ripped me on the radio(didn't mention the site) this morning and said it was the most idiotic idea he has ever heard <_< . If anyone on here has heard John Derringer he kept going on and on about it. Anyways, they obviously aren't supporting it, but I guess it was a good try.
