Reebox 10k shin pad wideness compaired to 11k?

Anyone go from reebox 10k shin gaurds to 11k shin gaurds? I have 10k's now and love then but the liner is trashed and they are pretty beat so was going to get the 11k's. They seemed thiner "not as wide". Before I order them I was wondering if anyone knows if this is true and if so is it a big difference like the bauer's, They are really thin! Thx

the shell is basically the same but with some vents. there's a bigger gap between the liner and the shell for extra protection so it protrudes out a bit more, about half an inch. i've used the 11k for quite a while but only tried on the 10k occasionally and so far as i can tell the fit the same; same deep knee cap and fairly voluminous down the leg.

how do you guys wear entirely through a pair of shins....isnt this the very part of your gear that has a lifelong life expectancy? (assuming youre done growing)
